Ombud Marketing Internship

Ombud is a computer software company based in Denver, Colorado. Customers rely on Ombud to automate the content-centric activities in their sales processes. Their platform combines content collaboration, project management, and machine learning to streamline the creation of sales documents like RFP responses, security questionnaires, sales proposals, statements of work, and much more.

Industry innovators such as Kronos, Zendesk, Ping Identity, Instructure, LogMeIn, Marketo, and Cloudera leverage Ombud as a force multiplier within their revenue teams to drive efficiency, boost collaboration, and grow their businesses.
As a marketing intern at Ombud, my responsibilities include:

Gain exposure and assist with the administration of enterprise-grade sales and marketing tools, including Salesforce.com, Hubspot, Bombora, and Google Analytics. Support the ongoing measurement and tracking of marketing effectiveness using this suite of tools

Writing, editing, and content support related to marketing assets, email campaigns, corporate communications, and social media

Sales enablement and demand generation projects such as data mining, campaign planning, and sales team support

Help to coordinate the social media and content calendars in tandem with other marketing team members

Research event opportunities and support the execution of events (i.e., webinars, tradeshows, customer roundtables, internal employee events, etc.) from planning to post-event measurement

Make regular website updates and blog posts within the CMS platform

Research market and competitive trends to drive content and social media opportunities

Ombud focuses on LinkedIn for social content because we are a B2B company. I used HubSpot to schedule posts on LinkedIn. I design the images for each post on Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or Canva. The types of posts I create are: industry posts, announcing a new employee, case study highlights, job openings, blog posts, and announcing upcoming events. ​
